U-TRADE PLATFORM: SELLER TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE

(For Central Student Government & Recognized Student Societies)

1. Acceptance of Seller Terms

Welcome to the merchant portal of U-Trade, the official e-commerce platform of Cavite State University – Bacoor Campus. By registering, accessing, or utilizing a Seller Dashboard as a representative of the Central Student Government (CSG) or a recognized student society, you agree to be bound by these Seller Terms and Conditions. These terms derive their authority directly from the platform bylaws and are concurred by the Office of the Vice President for Business and Resource Generation (OVBRG).

2. Seller Eligibility, Authentication, & Dashboard Access

2.1 Institutional Authentication: All seller accounts must be registered and accessed using official CvSU institutional credentials to preserve a closed-loop, secure campus ecosystem.
2.2 Organizational Tier Restrictions: Seller privileges are strictly limited to verified accounts belonging to the Central Student Government (CSG) and recognized Student Societies.
2.3 Dashboard Security: Financial ledgers, business generation metrics, and organizational management tools are isolated exclusively to authorized seller dashboards. Unauthorized access attempts will result in immediate administrative intervention.

3. Mandatory Merchandise and Pricing Approvals

3.1 Pre-Approval Requirement: The CSG and all recognized student societies acting as sellers on U-Trade must submit all proposed merchandise, items, and exact selling prices to the Business Generating Office for rigorous review and formal written approval prior to publishing any listings on the platform.
3.2 Absolute Pricing Authority: The Business Generating Office maintains absolute authority over pricing controls to protect student consumer welfare and guarantee fair trade practices across the campus. Any unapproved listings or unauthorized price modifications will be removed immediately by platform administrators.

4. Transactions, Receipts, and the 3% System Hosting Fee

4.1 Payment Processing: The platform supports cash-upon-meetup transactions and verified digital payment integrations. The system automatically generates and stores digital receipts for all completed sales.
4.2 Mandatory 3% Platform Fee: To support continuous server maintenance, system security, and platform operations, a mandatory 3% Platform fee is automatically computed and retained per transaction.
4.3 Monthly Settlement Deadline: All accumulated financial obligations, fees, and hosting deductions must be cleared directly with the Campus Cashiering Office on or before the 5th day of each succeeding month.

5. Fulfillment Protocols and Campus Safety Standards

5.1 Designated Drop-Off Zones: To maintain campus security, pedestrian safety, and an undisturbed academic atmosphere, all physical exchanges, item hand-offs, and buyer-seller meet-ups for orders processed via U-Trade must occur strictly within official campus drop-off zones designated by the administration (e.g., Student Center Hub or Gazebo areas).
5.2 Strict Delivery Restrictions: Unregulated classroom-to-classroom deliveries, building-to-building drops, and hallway peddling are strictly prohibited.
5.3 Prohibited Commodities: Listing, marketing, or selling weapons, illegal drugs, alcoholic beverages, tobacco, vape products, or unverified perishable food items is strictly banned. Violations will trigger immediate account freezing.

6. Seller Violations and Disciplinary Sanctions

6.1 Grounds for Penalties: Failure by the CSG or any student society to secure prior Business Generating Office price approval, attempting to bypass platform transaction workflows, or defaulting on the monthly platform fee settlement deadline will invoke immediate administrative action.

6.2 Administrative Penalties: Violations of these seller terms shall result in:

Immediate freezing of the organizational U-Trade dashboard and suspension of merchant selling privileges.
Formal account suspension from the platform.
Direct referral to campus disciplinary authorities and the Office of Student Affairs and Services (OSAS) for institutional review.
